inspiration. motivation. dream

Well, just a very random post here. Just now when I was having lunch somewhere around my place, I saw this "couple", both of them are looking at each other's camera, and I thought what camera and lenses are they using? Well, to my surprise, it's a Leica, a legendary Leica lens, right in front of my eyes.

Why am I writing this post? because everytime I sees someone holding a Leica camera, inspiration will strike me. Yes, I mean EVERYTIME. When this inspiration comes, motivation starts. Motivation towards having one myself, very very much. It will be a temporary dream for me I think. Because from what I've heard and see from a Leica, there's nothing quite like it, the feel and look at the images. Well, equipment doesn't really bug me a lot because it's all about the eye of the photographer. But somehow Leica just gives me this special feeling towards it, even though I haven't really hold one before. The unobtrusive, stealthy camera just gives me a better chance to make more intimate and closer photos of the street, of people.

Yes I am going to own one in the future(maybe a M6 or 7) before jumping into the digital one. Am working very hard towards it which is to train my eyes and mind so that I don't do stupid things with one prestigious camera. Feeling what the old masters in the past use a Leica to produce tonnes of brilliant images makes me felt so want to join them.
